The tie clip should sit around the middle of your sternum, ideally between the third and fourth button on your shirt. It should be attached from right to left to capture both your tie and shirt.

Lapel pins have made a comeback recently. For decades lapel pins were only worn at formal events, but are now donned by dapper men going about their daily life. There’s only one golden rule for lapel pins which you must keep in mind that to wear them where the lapel buttonhole is i.e. the upper part of the left lapel.
